It is understood that this I.D.L. shall in no way affect the obligation of the holder to conform strictly relating to the policies, laws, and regulations enforced by the country that the holder is traveling through. It is also understood that proper road-courtesy will be used in all these countries. This official international driver’s permit (IDP) is valid unless your driving license is expired, suspended or revoked in the meantime. While driving, you need to carry the provided ID, a United Nation convention passport (which we will also provide you with) and your original Driver’s License.

The International Driver’s Document issued by ALPHA-IDL is an official translation of a national or domestic driver’s license. You are not permitted to present the IDL as the main document because it is only a translation of your original driver’s license.
